Ensign Building Projects uses this website to explain our building services, show project examples and help people contact us about building work.
We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us, for example by using the enquiry form, calling us or emailing us. We use those details to respond to and manage a genuine user-initiated building or project enquiry.
When you ask us to discuss a potential project or take steps before a possible contract, our primary lawful basis is UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b): taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. This does not mean every enquiry creates or forms a contract.
For other genuine incoming enquiries that are not pre-contractual, we rely on UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in responding to and managing genuine enquiries, limited to what you would reasonably expect.
Details submitted through the contact form are not automatically added to marketing. This enquiry flow does not seek marketing consent.

Third-party maps
Choose when Google Maps loads.
The Contact page first shows a static street map image served by Ensign. Loading the page does not connect your browser to Google Maps or OpenStreetMap. The image is based on OpenStreetMap data and carries a visible link to its contributor attribution.
If you choose "Show interactive Google map", the static image is replaced by an embedded Google map. Your browser then connects to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details and the referring page, and may use cookies or local storage under its own terms.
The Apple Maps link is available without loading the Google map. Opening it takes you to Apple's service and privacy terms. Ensign does not send enquiry-form details or message content to either map provider.
